Your HLPA has now successfully completed one of our Park’s major infrastructure projects: The Rochester at Hamilton Bridge and Culvert. This project funded entirely by the Association will take care of a major flooding issue for decades to come. The project involved clearing trees and then constructing a full concrete bridge and culvert with a 4-foot oval “squish” pipe.
The roadway previously was only 18′ wide. Through this project, we were able to bring the roadway back to 20′ required width for emergency vehicle access!
Thank you for your patience during this construction especially to our members on the South End who had to find other workarounds for access during construction and the 30-day curing period.
