As of January 1, 2026, the HLPA is requiring that all motorized boats be registered with the Association. In addition to registering, you will need to upload the following three things to complete your registration:
- A clear picture of your boat
- A clear picture of your New York State Registration card
- A clear picture of your Insurance card. Your insurance card MUST also show that HLPA is listed as an additional insured.
NEW: ALL MOTORIZED BOAT OWNERS MUST COMPLETE ALL INFORMATION, OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PUT YOUR BOAT IN THE WATER!
The purpose of this registration is for emergency notification in case of issues with your equipment and to comply with New York State law. This information will be used only by the Board and will not be shared with other members.
